The Mogs and some of their dogs
This is my girlfriend and her husband and two of her four dogs. She is a very special person to me because I have known her since we were born. Our fathers grew up together and they were best friends. Our families built a cabin together at Lake Tahoe which we shared for many years. I’ve known her longer than any other living person. I even got to photograph her daughter’s wedding. Pretty amazing to have a friend like this.
I’ve been wanting to photograph her for several years, now, but she wasn’t ready. Several years ago she remarried the man of her dreams. She told me that they didn’t have a photographer at their wedding (it was a small ceremony). So, needless to say, I was thrilled when she contacted me recently and asked me to photograph her and her husband.
Here are some of the photos of that shoot.
They have a great relationship, but things really started happening when they brought out the dogs…four of them.
You can see that sometimes the dogs cooperated and sometimes they did not, but it was hugely fun.
But, one of my favorite photos was one of just their hands.
