Many Blessings of Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving with the fam…and boy what a fam.  My family tradition is to head out to Plymouth (how appropos), CA, to a little one room school house, which my large, extended family rents for the day.  Usually between 100-150 people show up to celebrate the day.  Yes!  ONE HUNDRED TO ONE HUNDRED FIFTY PEOPLE…all eating turkey, bringing food to share and chatting it up with people that they hadn’t seen since the year before.  It is a little overwhelming, but great fun.

So here are a couple of my favorite people patiently waiting for Thanksgiving dinner.  The beautiful girl looking into the camera is my niece.  My oldest son and my niece’s brother are across the table.  My oldest son’s beautiful girlfriend is seated next to him.  Boy, am I a lucky gal.

My son’s girlfriend has the most adorable son in the world.  He has personality and good looks.  What a very fun kid.

This is my favorite nephew.  If truth be known, he’s also my only blood nephew, but even if he wasn’t my only nephew, he would still be my favorite.  Just look at his adorable girlfriend.  Who wouldn’t be enchanted with this couple?

Here is my oldest son, his beautiful girlfriend and her fantastic three year old son.  The more I get to know these two people, the more I have fallen in love with them.

My niece brought her boyfriend to the huge family Thanksgiving.  Both of these two darling young people who tagged along with my niece and nephew are brave souls.

I am definitely blessed.

Lesley Cox - How wonderful that you are still able to have the annual family reunion/thanksgiving. That’s quite an accomplishment each year! Your photos are fantastic, as usual! Cam and Cassie told me how cute they thought the little boy of the girlfriend is. They were quite enchanted by him from the sounds of it. I’m glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
